Story of Anita and Finland

My name is Anita and I am from Denmark. I have been a Nightwish fans since 2007 when I
heard Dark Passion Play in a record shop in Copenhagen. I was listening through the entire
symphonic metal section and immediately I was hooked.
I have always had a longing for travelling to and in Finland. The mysterious land in the north. The
nature and the landscape is breathtaking. Midnight summer and dark winter. The magical northern
lights. I remember flying to Helsinki, and it was only a transfer flight. We had to spend time in the
airport, and I so desperately wanted to enter Finland, but this was not an option.
Finally, I came back for a Nightwish show in Helsinki. Its very easy to travel in Finland and in Finland
also.
Flying with Finnair to Helsinki Vantaa airport. There is a train connection from Helsinki Airport to
Helsinki city center. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center. You can take the I train or the
P train. The tickets can be bought from the HSL ticket machine or HSL app. From the grand central
station in Helsinki, you can take a train to many different cities in Finland e.g., Kitee. Just check vr.fi
for the train tickets. If you prefer a car, you can easily book that on rentalcars.com. It can be picked
up at the airport, which makes it even easier. If you prefer the bus this is also an option. Go and
check out matkahuolto.fi/en for more information.
I have travelled mostly by car, but I know many prefer the train so that you can relax and enjoy the
beautiful scenery.

Enjoy and hope to see you in Finland.
