For many years Nightwish Fans Meeting (NFM) has been known as Kitee Music and Art Festival
(KIMAF). Many wonderful artists (singers, pianists, painters etc.) have been invited to the city of
Kitee, the birthplace of Nightwish. As you might know the very first KIMAF was held in 2014. I never
participated in KIMAF, but I really wanted to.
This year we will finally meet again, but this year KIMAF has changed a bit. It changed from KIMAF to
NFM. Nightwish fans meeting is a meeting for the fans between fans. We will share our stories,
explore the beautiful landscape of Kitee, and listen to many of Plamens stories, and there are many
stories to be told.
I was and am a member of Nightwish Family and was asked to be a part of promoting NFM. I am
active on social media and love interacting with other fans around the world. The Nightwish fan base
is a family and I have got so many new friends via the Nightwish community. I was beyond honored
to work with Plamen Dimov. Together the whole event has been promoted on both Facebook and
Instagram with posts, pictures, and videos in the private Nightwish Fans Meeting group and
Nightwish Family.
This summer everyone is invited to Kitee. It is a Nightwish week with 3 amazing Nightwish days in
and around Kitee. During the week we will see some important spots in the Nightwish history, visit
the museum, concert by DreamLight Duo, and a surprise.
